Do unto animals by Tracey Stewart

The more we know about the animals in our world and the better we care for them, the better our lives will be. Former veterinary technician and animal advocate Tracey Stewart understands this better than most—and she’s on a mission to change how we interact with animals. Through charming illustrations and her humorous voice, Stewart provides insight into the secret lives of animals and the kindest ways to live with and alongside them. To place a hold click here.

Finally Something Good on TV

“Finally something good on TV” is what a youngster at the library said, during a class visit, when he saw himself in our new monitor which displays the video feed from the camera at the entrance of the library. The library recently had a new security system installed in order to ensure the safety of our community members while they visit the library.

As well, we have installed new public access computers. The old ones were costly to maintain and were not serving our community’s needs. We are now back up to our capacity of 10 computer stations. Come by and take one for a spin!
