Event location - Main upper entrance of Sportsplex: 3320 Kalum St, Terrace
This is a free, sober, community event for adults & youth. The youngest player must be a minimum of 8 years and all teams must have one member who is at least 14 years old. Teams are made up of 4 to 6 players. Game play is approximately 45 minutes.
- Doors will open promptly at 5:00pm.
- There is no advance registration. Teams will enter "first-come, first-served."
- Teams will register on arrival and be given an approximate start time. If your group is not present when called, you forfeit your turn.
- There will be fun games and puzzles in the Banquet room while you wait for your team to be called.
Game Rules:
- Teams only have 5 minutes in each room. You may not enter the room until invited by the Room Keeper.
- Teams must stay together at all times. Have team members use the washroom before play begins.
- You may ask for hints from the Room Keeper.
- Please treat items carefully in each room. Some props are valuable and fragile. The Room Keeper will tell you if you are allowed to touch things. Do not touch things in the room if it is posted not to.
- Good team play is encouraged- teams work best when players support each other and allow everyone a chance to shine.
- Do not take anything from the rooms unless instructed.
- Do not use your cell phone unless directed to.
- No pictures allowed until your team has completed all the puzzles and solved the mystery.
- And finally- do not share puzzle answers with other teams, it takes away the fun of solving the mystery.
