Library patrons continue to have access to Shames for the 2025/2026 winter season to enjoy a day of skiing or snowboarding. We offer four vouchers available for each operational day. These vouchers can be exchanged at the Ticket Office or the Rental Shop (both at the ski hill), for ONE of the following:
Please note: Rental includes helmet, but not jacket, pants, gloves, or goggles.
Discovery lessons are available only at 10 AM and 1 PM (It will take two hours, or only one hour if there is only one student). Ski lessons are for ages 6+, snowboarding lessons are for ages 8+. Younger children cannot attend these lessons. First, send an email to skischool@shamesmtn.ca to request a lesson for the voucher date (this should be done at least a few days in advance). Indicate either 10 AM or 1 PM preference. Once the appointment has been set, remember to check in for the lesson at the Shames Ticket Office when you arrive at the mountain.

In order to equitably distribute the passes, each patron will be limited to 1 ski voucher per month for each card. Vouchers for the month will be made available about a week before the month begins (the exact date will be announced on our socials). Vouchers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Holds will not be allowed.
Vouchers across cards may not be combined for use by a single patron.
